After many moderations I now have my final cut. I added in the last sound effects I needed and they make a huge difference to the opening - the sound in the news report is so much clearer and is easier for the audience to understand. The defibrillator sound effect makes what is happening in the hospital scene totally unambiguous therefore helping the audience understand the plot and the scream is so much better, it's more guttural which is unpleasant to hear and really evokes fear and concern in the audience helping to engage them in my opening and make them sympathise with my protagonist.
I added the ident to the beginning of the whole thing and used a fade to black to transition it into the film as I didn't think it should fade straight from Schnauzer Studios into the serious and sad opening scene.
When I watched it through the only other thing I changed was to add an extra beep as the titles come up just because I thought they ended a bit abruptly and I liked the cohesion they brought to the whole opening.
